VX 950 Engine: This VX 950 V-Twin Fan-Cooled engine is built to never let you down. Big Block™ performance that delivers our highest horsepower and highest torque available on the Aurora and Conquest Series.
Admiral Transmission With Aps: The Admiral transmission with ARGO Progressive Steering (APS) uses some very complex gearing, including dual differentials on the output shafts. So when steering, the braking force is not applied to the output shafts but to a steering differential, which translates to a vastly different driving experience. While steering in high gear, the output shafts rotate at a 3:1 ratio, yielding smoother, gentler steering events. While there is no ability for zero turn in high range, select low range and it operates similarly to a traditional skid steer vehicle offering a zero-radius turn.
Argo Progressive Steering (Aps): APS is an innovation in the area of braking force application to the transmission steering differential. By adding a spring element between the handlebars and the brake system we achieved a progressive, dual-rate steering system. Steering events are now effortless with an increase of 4X wider range of steering motion, offering the smoothest turning available in an ARGO XTV. APS makes it as fun and comfortable to drive as any UTV.
Instant Torque Clutch (Itc): The ARGO Instant Torque Drive System (ITDS) dramatically improves low-end torque and increases acceleration. The Instant Torque Clutch (ITC) is designed to provide the optimal gear ratio, shifting seamlessly throughout the full range to utilize the massive torque and power of our engines.
25" Tires on Beadlock Steel Rims: Aurora models have 25" XT117 tires on premium 9" Beadlock steel rims. The chevron treads maximize your power in thick mud and increase your propulsion in whatever waterway you decide to drive in.
Fully Enclosed Body: The one-piece, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lower body is ARGO’s signature design feature. The smooth and durable underbody allows for up to 26" of water fording while going over potential snags, stumps and outcrops, delivering unparalleled stability and safe navigation.
Reduced Underhood Temperature: To ensure comfort for the operator and passengers, heat-reflective and absorptive material is integrated into the firewall. A composite exhaust shroud goes one step further and effectively redirects heat while producing a subtle note from the exhaust.
Roll-Over Protective Structure (Rops): For unpredictable and extreme terrain, add additional protection for your ARGO XTV. Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS) provides additional peace of mind when the terrain gets hairy.
